5th Graders Shine in 'Joust' Musical
Our fifth graders recently delighted their fellow students, as well as families and community members with a performance of "Joust!"
👑Together, the students used music to tell the story of King Arthur, but instead of picking up swords, they picked up Boomwhackers! (Boomwhackers are colorful percussion instruments that produce different pitches based on length).
🎶Students who participated in the musical could choose to act on stage or run the lights, sound, props, or help backstage as part of the performance.
👏Congratulations to all the Mustangs who performed, and to Music Teacher Dayle Walters on an amazing show!
March is Music in Our Schools Month, and we're continuing to highlight musical moments from across the district this month. Thank you to all of our music teachers and staff for inspiring a love of music in our students! 🎵🫶
