Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!

On behalf of the entire staff at Sunny Hills Elementary School—Welcome! Whether you are new to our community or returning for another year, we are so glad you are here. Our school is a place where every student belongs, every voice matters, and every learner is supported to work toward their highest personal potential.

At Sunny Hills, we believe in creating a school culture rooted in connection, inclusion, and care. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment where all students feel seen, valued, and inspired to grow— academically, socially and emotionally. We also believe that learning should be filled with joy and curiosity, and we are excited to create meaningful experiences that make school a place your child loves to be.

As we begin the new school year, we invite you to stay connected by visiting our school website for important updates, district information, and helpful resources. You can also sign up for our weekly Sunny Hills Weekly Bulletin to receive timely news and upcoming event reminders.

Here are a few key dates to note as we get started:

  • Enrollment Verification Process (EVP) Online: August 7-13
  • New Student Tour: August 26 from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
  • Meet the Teacher: August 27 from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
  • First Day of School,1st-5th Grades: August 28
  • First Day of Kindergarten: September 3
  • Curriculum Night:  September 18 (Grades 3-5, 6:00-6:30 and Grades K-2, 7:00-7:30)
