Drop-off and Pick-up Reminders

Please remember that students may not be dropped off on campus before 9:00 a.m. as we do not have supervision available until that time. And, as always, please be sure to drive slowly and cautiously through our parking and drop-off/pick-up loop. Safety is paramount and we appreciate you all for following our parking lot rules:

• Drive slowly, no matter the time of day.
• Pull forward in the drop-off/pick-up loop as much as possible and only drop-off or pick-up students in the area directly in front of the school to avoid merging traffic throughout the loop.
• Avoid using cell phones while in the parking lot.
• Please use only the far right lane for drop-off and pick-up. Do not use the middle lane for loading or unloading your vehicle.
• Students should load and unload directly to and from the sidewalk through the passenger side door, not on the driver side.
• When merging back into the through lane, please use your blinker.
• Only cross using designated crosswalks.  
• Pay attention to the directions of staff who are working hard to make sure our students and families are safe.
• Do not leave your car unattended on the curb or in the queue. 
• Arrive on time at the end of the school day.  School dismisses at 3:40 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.  

We are noticing  more students being dropped off early and a handful of students being picked up late. Our paraprofessionals are out front in the mornings to keep kids safe from 9:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. At the end of the days, they are there again until 3:50 p.m.  Students who have not been picked up are taken to the office. We call parents at that point. Again, we are seeing an uptick in late pick-ups.
