A Message from Mrs. Przybylski - April 2nd

Message From

Being a game changer looks like:

  • Including others and showing kindness
  • Persevering through challenges and trying your best
  • Taking ownership of learning and setting goals
  • Using strategies and feedback to grow

Throughout the month, we will continue to connect this work to the Mustang Way:

  • Be Respectful – Create a learning environment where everyone feels valued and included
  • Be Responsible – Take ownership of your actions and your learning
  • Be Engaged – Stay focused, participate, and give your best effort

This is an important time of year for learning at Sunny Hills. Our classrooms are full of meaningful opportunities for students to think deeply, collaborate, and strengthen their skills—especially in math and literacy. It has been wonderful to see students building confidence, using strategies, and taking pride in their progress.

This continued focus will support students as they prepare for the Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA) in May. Being a game changer during this time means approaching learning with perseverance, confidence, and a positive mindset.

You can support your child at home by:

  • Encouraging consistent routines and good sleep
  • Asking about what they are learning and celebrating effort
  • Reinforcing that growth comes with practice and persistence

We are so proud of our Mustangs for the way they show up each day—for themselves and for one another. When students choose to lead, include others, and take ownership of their learning, they truly become game changers—and that’s how Together We Win.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
