Staffing Updates for the 2026–27 School Year
As we wrap up another wonderful year at Sunny Hills, our staff recently gathered to share gratitude, celebrate accomplishments, and say farewell to several influential members of our team. We also wanted to share these updates with our Sunny Hills community.
This year brings a mix of emotions as we say goodbye to some incredible educators and staff members. Some of these changes are connected to district budget reductions due to enrollment, while others are the result of exciting new opportunities, retirement, or family moves. Each of these individuals has contributed meaningful ways to the success, growth, and sense of belonging that make Sunny Hills such a special place, and each staff member will be missed.

· Ms. Julia Dorn – Assistant Principal (Beginning a new role as Principal at Newcastle Elementary)
Each of these staff members has left a lasting mark on Sunny Hills. Whether through classroom teaching, supporting students beyond the classroom, leading schoolwide programs, building relationships, coaching staff, or creating meaningful experiences for students, their impact will continue to be felt for years to come.
Along with these transitions, we are excited to welcome several new faces to our Sunny Hills family and look forward to introducing additional staff members as hiring continues over the summer.
